2011 MDS INFO: We expect to open the pre-registration lottery process for the 2011 sometime in August. You will have the opportunity to submit your name and contact information via a link on this website. We will accept names for the lottery for roughly 4 weeks and then draw the names for the 2011 MDS sometime in October.
2010 MDS UPDATE: Following is a link to the list of names selected for the Dreamchasers 2010 Marathon des Sables pre-registration group. (About 195 names were collected for our 90 lottery spots, and more requests arrive daily. At this time we are maintaining a waiting list for those who did not receive a spot in the race. Please contact our office if you would like your name removed from the list.)
WHAT'S NEXT FOR THOSE WHO WERE SELECTED? Upon receipt of a US$100 pre-registration deposit (which will be due in January 2009 - details will follow about this process), your spot will be held until the exact dates and cost of the race are released, which will most likely occur in May 2009. Once the dates and cost are released, an update will be sent to the email address we have on file and you will have approximately three weeks to send in your first entry fee payment. This first entry fee payment will ultimately secure your spot for the 2010 event. If you do not submit this payment within the three week time period, your spot will be offered to the next person on our waiting list. Please note, it is your responsibility to contact our office with any change of email address and to be certain that you are registered for our newsletter.

Before filling out the forms, please be sure to read the notes we’ve provided as they should answer any questions you might have about the file. Also, when returning the documents, please be sure to include the items listed on our instruction sheet.
Dreamchasers Outdoor Adventure Club, LLC is the Official Marathon des Sables Representative for the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The Marathon of the Sands usually takes place in late March or early April near the remote town of Ouarzazate, Morocco.
